While we wait for Iron Bowl Friday, let's make a few predictions for the Saturday before the big game.
I'll be surprised if Alabama's first-teamers see the field in the second half against Chattanooga. I'm looking for Star Jackson to take over in the second quarter for Greg McElroy. And if Mark Ingram wants to pad his Heisman stats against the Mocs, he'll need to do it on Bama's first three possessions.
Meanwhile, the Auburn Tigers will be watching with the rest of us this Saturday. Auburn took three days off earlier in the week, then practiced three days. The Tigers will have fresh legs and home-field advantage Friday against Bama, but will it be enough? That's a subject for next week's Journal!
